The Open Enso is a blog about people and their creations.
There are moments in the life of a human being when the mind is free to simply let the spirit create through the physical body. The human being composes, paints, writes, photographs, plays or sings and thus becomes an artist. To share these moments and to give these creators a platform is the purpose and the goal of The Open Enso.
Now, what is the enso? The enso is a sacred symbol of the Zen school of Buddhism. It means "circle" and is very commonly used in Japanese calligraphy. The enso can be closed or it can be open. When it is closed it represents perfection, but also the universe and the absolute enlightenment that goes with it. When the enso is open, the perfection is yet to be achieved but there is an effort to reach that peak and a mindset to enjoy the journey ahead.
The Open Enso aims to be the companion of human beings that live this journey. The Open Enso wants to convey their expressions of individuality and creativity and capture them for the world to witness. The Open Enso is an invitation to participate and to let others become your fellow travelers.
